M.B.A. Program in China

Since 1997, NYIT has an educational cooperation agreement with Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE), located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province. NYIT was among the first to receive approval from the Ministry of Education to operate foreign degree programs in China.

Program Design
Each year, the NYIT-JUFE M.B.A. program admits more than 100 students in China, and the classes are offered in Nanchang, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. The students are mostly working adults, including entrepreneurs, business executives, and government officials. The 10-year-old program is recognized as one of the best foreign degree programs in China.

Curriculum
The M.B.A. program consists of 12 courses plus a comprehensive oral examination. All courses are offered in cycles (eight-week terms) through a combination of intensive class lectures and an online component. The in-class portion consists of five six-hour lecture days. Blackboard, an online tool, is used to support teaching and provide interaction between the instructor and students.
NYIT faculty members from New York are responsible for teaching 75 percent of the coursework.

The NYIT Community
The program is usually completed in one and a half years. Those who meet the requirements are awarded the degree of a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from NYIT and a program certificate from JUFE. Graduation is held in Nanchang in March, and graduates are also invited to attend the commencement at NYIT's Old Westbury campus in Long Island, N.Y. Upon graduation, students immediately become part of NYIT's 77,000-member alumni family worldwide, with lifetime access to his/her NYIT e-mail account and received the benefits as well as the support of the NYIT alumni network.

If you are interested in enrolling in the NYIT-JUFE M.B.A. program or would like more information, please contact NYIT's JUFE partner in China:
