The NYIT School of Management Center for Human Resource Studies prepares current and future HR leaders. Employees are the critical factor in the success of every enterprise. The challenge for human resources leaders is to develop workforce strategies that attract, develop, and engage the talent that enable firms to compete successfully in a dynamic, competitive global business environment.
Our graduate and undergraduate programs, supported by our Professional Enrichment Program, provide a foundation in essential human resources management and labor relations knowledge, sharpen your critical thinking skills, and develop your leadership abilities. Classes and professional enrichment activities are available evenings and weekends at our campuses on Long Island and in Manhattan and provide scheduling flexibility for students.
We offer numerous professional services to practicing professionals, community leaders, and corporate partners. These include SHRM Learning System classes to prepare you for your PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification, as well as PayTrain classes for payroll professional certification. Learn more about these programs.
Engaging students in real-life workforce opportunities helps to strengthen our integration of future HR leaders into practical value-adding activities that support ongoing projects with our industry partners.
Advisory boards, proprietary research initiatives, networking activities, and seminars and workshops provide platforms for our industry partners and our center to explore cutting-edge and global HR solutions and best practices.
The Center for Human Resource Studies welcomes financial donations to the Dr. Dibble Scholarship Fund, which are used for the education of our undergraduate and graduate students. Donations are accepted at our Giving Page. Click “Donate Now” and provide your contact information; on the second screen, designate the Dr. Dibble Scholarship, on the pull-down menu.
