NYIT-Vancouver Professional Enrichment Workshop: The Art of Conversation

Telecommunications Network Management

The primary objective of the Telecommunications Management curriculum is to prepare our graduates for careers in the telecommunications industry with skills consistent with the requirements of today's workplace. Demands for graduates of this program are at an all-time high with graduates finding employment in industry as well as government agencies.

Our program in Telecommunications Management responds to the growing need of the telecommunications industry for graduates with an understanding of current principles, applications, technology, and regulatory policies. Students are prepared to immediately participate in the numerous careers available in this dynamic field - - voice and data analysis, digital systems support, wireless and high-speed information networks, and many more, some of which may not even exist yet!

Students enrolled in the program are provided with broad-based coursework consisting of an integrated synthesis of computer/electrical technology and telecommunications. Immediately upon graduation, students are prepared to utilize equipment to its maximum performance both from a technical and from a management perspective.

Our faculty have advanced degrees in telecommunications related areas and generally have either worked in industry or have ongoing relations therewith. This mix is appropriate and offers the student an exposure to a staff well versed in the practical and theoretical aspects of their respective subject areas.
